Location of Rai Valley in Marlborough

The township of Rai Valley is located along State Highway 6 on the Marlborough side of the Rai Saddle, 31 km north-west of Havelock and 49 km north-east of Nelson.
Okiwi Bay and French Pass are reached via Ronga Road, and Tennyson Inlet via Opouri Road.
The Rai River runs through the valley and reaches the Pelorus River at Pelorus Bridge 8 km to the south.
